Job Summary

The Automotive Cashier will serve as a crucial front-line specialist, responsible for accurately processing all monetary and credit transactions related to service, parts, and vehicle sales. This role will ensure the integrity of daily financial records through meticulous reconciliation and delivering a professional and positive final experience for every client.

Job Responsibilities

  • Accept and process all payment types, including cash, checks, credit cards, and wire transfers, strictly adhering to company financial procedures
  • Arrange daily bank deposits by accurately verifying cash and check sales amounts and preparing all necessary deposit slips.
  • Issue accurate change and provide detailed receipts to customers, ensuring a professional and courteous final transaction.
  • Maintain accurate cash handling by balancing cash drawers at the start and end of each shift, ensuring zero variance and meticulous record-keeping.
  • Perform cash counting transparently and immediately address, adjust, and report any cash shortages or discrepancies.
  • Accurately compute customer bills and process payments for all vehicle sales, parts purchases, and repair/service orders.

Education & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a related field.
  • Language: Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Locations: This role requires placement at our Cairo and Alexandria branches.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills paired with strong analytical abilities.

Skills

  • Strong computer and systems literacy.
  • Excellent command of English (oral and written)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
